I was at Woolbearers Saturday night for their Christmas Finishing Frenzy because I was determined to finish my BFF's socks (and I did!) About half of the people who showed up I have never met before, so it was nice to talk to new people. The conversation turned to the topic of "Stupid Stuff People Ask" and one of the new ladies told one she heard the other day: "Why are the stars so much brighter after an earthquake?"
*blink blink*

PS The yarn is Trekking 147, 3x1 rib on 56 stitches and size 2 circular needles.
