Occasional Zinger

Last night, it being a Tuesday, the VIP spent time with his DS (my DSS). I was commandeered to drive to NJ, because the VIP has been sick lately and was too exhausted after work. So I brought my sock-in-progress, and the pair of socks I had just finished for DSS. He is such a joy to knit socks for, because he loves anything I make for him. Anyway, after supper, they were working on his homework. He had some vocabulary words. Here is the convo:

VIP: "What do you call the back of a ship?"
DSS: "The stern."
VIP: "Correct. And don't ever call it the 'hind-quarters.'"
DSS: "No, because that would be the poop deck."

Want to see my latest Kaffe Fassett socks?

This just in:
Madeleine Albright loves to knit socks!
